Graduate Transfer Programme (Conversion Training for Graduates)

A proposal submitted to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, through the ministerial committee formed in June 2026, within Iraq's National Education Strategy 2022–2031. It sets out the policy, regulations and operating procedures for short, competency-based training that lets graduates of saturated specialisations move into fields the labour market needs, with formally recognised credentials that can build towards a higher qualification. The programme rests on three tests: training based on proven demand, conversion based on the graduate's proven readiness, and expansion based on proven impact.

The “10,000 Trees” Project: Cultivating a Greener Campus and a Sustainable Future

Al-Hadba University has set aside land around its campus in Mosul to plant 10,000 trees. The project aims to reduce the University's carbon footprint, improve local air quality and create shaded gardens and walkways, and it invites students, staff and local residents to plant and care for the trees. The University President, Prof. Dr. Badie Ali Ahmed, planted the first tree. The project continues in phases, with ongoing maintenance, until the target of 10,000 trees is reached.

Mosul International Airport Reconstruction Project

Reconstruction of Mosul International Airport, carried out by TAV and 77 since 2022. The works include repairing the runway and extending it from 2,650 to 3,000 metres, and building all of the airport's facilities: passenger halls, a health centre, maintenance and fire stations, a control tower more than 33 metres high and an air cargo building. The consultancy team reviews and approves the structural, geotechnical and MEP designs, advises on airport planning and on mechanical, electrical and environmental systems in line with international standards, and follows construction so that the airport qualifies for its licence as an international airport. The work is now in its final stages: handover, supervision of maintenance and monitoring the effects of operating the airport.
